Services in Karlsruhe: Psychotherapy, Yoga, Coaching, and Prevention

Not every kind of support fits every situation — that’s why it matters to me to keep my services clear and transparent.

At YoSelf – Yoga, Therapy & more in Karlsruhe, I offer psychotherapy, Integral Yoga Therapy, coaching, and preventive health programs. Together, we’ll explore which approach best supports your current situation—whether therapeutic, body-oriented, future-focused, or preventive. Psychotherapy and coaching are available both in person and online via a secure, GDPR-compliant video connection.

My work brings together body, mind, and nervous system. Depending on your individual needs, psychotherapy, Integral Yoga Therapy, coaching, or prevention may take center stage.

Choosing the right approach is part of working responsibly.

Psychotherapy in Karlsruhe

Psychotherapy for stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, ADHD & psychosomatic symptoms

  • Anxiety and persistent worry
  • Persistent low mood
  • Burnout
  • Psychosomatic symptoms
  • Adult ADHD and neurodivergence
  • Emotional regulation
  • Self-esteem and self-worth
  • Life transitions
  • Personal growth

How I work in psychotherapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative. Rather than relying on a single method, I draw on different evidence-informed therapeutic approaches according to your individual situation and needs. Conversation remains an essential part of the process. When appropriate, body awareness, breathing, resource-oriented techniques, and elements of Integral Yoga Therapy may also become part of our work together. Every intervention is guided by one question:

What is most helpful for you at this point in your life?

The goal of psychotherapeutic

The goal is not simply to reduce symptoms. It is to better understand yourself, strengthen your inner stability, and create meaningful change that can be integrated into everyday life. Therapy isn’t about having the right answers.

It’s about making space for the right questions.

Yoga & Yoga Therapy in Karlsruhe

Yoga and yoga therapy — when the body is carrying what has become too much inside

For me, yoga and Integral Yoga Therapy are not about performance. They are ways of reconnecting with yourself. When we experience ongoing stress, psychosomatic symptoms, emotional exhaustion, or persistent tension, the body often reflects what it has been carrying for a long time.

Yoga can help restore a sense of presence, regulation, and inner stability.

What yoga and yoga therapy can include

  • Mindful body awareness
  • Individually adapted movement sequences
  • Breathwork
  • Support in releasing tension and reducing overactivation
  • Strengthening self-regulation and inner balance
  • Developing greater body awareness and presence

Who yoga and yoga therapy can be especially good for

  • People who experience stress primarily in the body
  • Those who feel that talking alone is not enough
  • People wishing to reconnect with their body
  • Anyone looking for a gentle, practical, and sustainable approach to change

My understanding of yoga

Not higher. Not faster. Not better. More connected.

For me, yoga is not about performance or perfection. It is about awareness, regulation, and feeling at home in your own body again.

What integrative yoga therapy means

Integral Yoga Therapy is neither a traditional yoga class nor a general wellness program. It is a therapeutically grounded approach that uses yogic methods in a targeted and individual way to support people experiencing stress, burnout, persistent low mood, anxiety disorders, psychosomatic symptoms, sleep difficulties, or emotional exhaustion. Its clinical framework is based on ICD-10/11.

The focus is on regulation rather than performance. Depending on your individual situation, sessions may include physical postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), meditation, relaxation techniques such as Yoga Nidra, and approaches that support nervous system regulation, including insights from Polyvagal Theory. I completed my training in Integral Yoga Therapy at the NirvanaYoga Academy Berlin, specializing in yoga therapy for mental health and stress-related conditions.

This means that my work is never based on a one-size-fits-all program. Instead, every session is adapted to your individual needs, your nervous system, and your therapeutic goals.

Coaching in Karlsruhe

Coaching for clarity, personal development & life transitions

There are times in life when we don’t necessarily need therapy. We need clarity. Coaching offers a structured, supportive, and forward-looking space to reflect on your current situation, explore new perspectives, and make decisions that feel aligned with who you are. Whether you’re facing personal or professional change, looking for greater balance, or simply feeling stuck, coaching helps you reconnect with your own strengths and move forward with greater confidence.

Coaching can support you with

  • Personal and professional change
  • Decision-making
  • Life transitions
  • Stress management
  • Self-leadership and personal development
  • Strengthening self-confidence
  • Creating healthier boundaries
  • Developing greater clarity and direction

How I work

Coaching is a collaborative process. Rather than giving advice or ready-made solutions, I support you in discovering your own answers, recognizing your strengths, and developing practical strategies that fit your life. Depending on your individual needs, our work may combine reflective conversation with body awareness, mindfulness, breathing techniques, and resource-oriented approaches. Every person brings different experiences, strengths, and goals.

For that reason, every coaching process is individual.

The goal of coaching

Coaching is not about becoming someone else. It is about understanding yourself more clearly and making choices that reflect who you are. Together, we’ll create space for greater clarity, confidence, and sustainable change—at a pace that feels right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Services

Psychotherapy is intended for people experiencing mental health difficulties or significant emotional distress. Coaching is more future-oriented and supports personal or professional development, decision-making, and life transitions without a therapeutic focus. If you’re unsure which approach is right for you, we’ll explore this together.

Yoga supports overall health, strength, flexibility, and balance. Integral Yoga Therapy is more individual and therapeutically oriented. It is tailored to your personal situation and intentionally integrates body awareness, breath, relaxation, and nervous system regulation into the process.

No. All classes and programs are designed to be accessible and can be adapted to your individual abilities, needs, and circumstances.

Psychotherapy provided by a Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie is generally not covered by Germany’s statutory health insurance. Whether private health insurance or supplementary insurance reimburses part of the costs depends on your individual policy. Please check directly with your insurance provider before beginning treatment.

You don’t have to work that out on your own. During our first conversation, we’ll talk about your situation, what is currently challenging you, and what you hope to gain from our work together. From there, we’ll decide together whether psychotherapy, Integral Yoga Therapy, coaching, or one of my preventive health programs in Karlsruhe is the most appropriate starting point.

Yes. Psychotherapy and coaching are also available online via a secure, GDPR-compliant video platform. While working together in person in Karlsruhe remains my primary focus, online sessions offer a valuable alternative for many people—providing greater flexibility, eliminating travel time, and allowing you to join from a familiar environment, while maintaining the same level of professionalism, confidentiality, and care.

If you’re unsure which format is best for you, we’ll decide together.

An important note — for your health and peace of mind

My services are part of a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment, and visiting my practice does not replace consulting a physician.

Some symptoms, diagnoses, or concerns require medical assessment or specialist support. Where symptoms are unclear, persistent, or fall outside my professional scope, a medical evaluation may be an important first step. In other situations, another healthcare professional or specialized service may be the more appropriate point of contact.

Responsible collaboration is an important part of my practice. During our first conversation and throughout the initial assessment, we’ll discuss together whether additional medical or specialist evaluation would be helpful—or, in some cases, necessary—before or alongside our work together.
